The disparity between wealth and poverty remains significant, leaving many families struggling to break free from cycles of hardship. For children born into these difficult circumstances, opportunities for a brighter future can be limited, especially without the love and guidance of a supportive family.
Our Colombia Hosting Program is dedicated to connecting families with older children who might otherwise be overlooked. Most children available for hosting are between the ages of 11 and 16, with younger children typically part of sibling groups. Hosting offers families a unique chance to make a profound difference in a child’s life—whether through adoption or by advocating for their future. The experience can be life-changing not just for the child, but for the host family as well.
While we faced challenges in securing visas for children in 2024, we remain hopeful that hosting will resume in the summer of 2025. This program provides a life-changing opportunity for children to experience the love and stability of a family, creating a foundation for a brighter future.
