Hope Delivered—One Hug, One Gift, One Smile at a Time
Long after the holiday lights dimmed, Frontier Horizon volunteers reignited the season’s spirit—bringing joy, comfort, and connection to children who needed it most.
In February, Frontier Horizon founder Vinny, board member Margaret Selzer, and her sister traveled to Poland for our Christmas Wish mission trip. Their goal? To bring warmth and wonder to over 250 Ukrainian orphans living in group homes.
Rather than filling suitcases with gifts from home, the team embraced a more meaningful approach—taking the kids on shopping trips to choose their own essentials, including clothes, toiletries, snacks, and toys. It was a simple act that gave the children a sense of agency, dignity, and delight.
But this trip wasn’t only about the gifts. It was about presence. Volunteers played games, made crafts, shared meals, and enjoyed fun outings together—from arcades to parks—giving the children cherished memories and a much-needed dose of seasonal magic.
Through every smile and every shared moment, the message was clear: you are not forgotten.
Even in the face of war and displacement, Frontier Horizon remains committed to standing alongside these children—bringing joy, hope, and human connection wherever we can.
