This summer, Frontier Horizon’s mission trips made a life-changing impact for more than 560 Ukrainian children in Ukraine and Poland. These are not just numbers—they are lives touched, futures strengthened, and children reminded that they are not forgotten.
Camp Dreamland in Ukraine
In the peaceful Carpathian Mountains, 250 children experienced a week of joy, safety, and connection at Camp Dreamland. Each day was filled with games, crafts, music, hikes, and even discos that filled the nights with laughter. More importantly, every child was seen and cared for—with volunteers and staff assessing health and emotional needs to ensure any additional issues could be followed up on.
Frontier Horizon founder Vinny Rosini and volunteers Michael Brady, Melanie Traughber, and Greg Tierno enjoyed time with all the children, participating in activities, and providing support where needed. Their presence—and the love of our supporters—helped these children know they matter to people all over the world.
Visiting Children in Poland
Following camp, Vinny continued to Poland, where he and the team reached 310 children living in seven group homes. Through simple yet powerful experiences—crafts, games, and outings—the children rediscovered what it feels like to laugh, play, and belong.
One volunteer shared: “They may not remember every activity, but they’ll remember that someone showed up for them.”
Why These Trips Matter
Frontier Horizon’s mission trips are more than fun programs—they are lifelines. They create lasting advocates who carry the children’s stories back to their own communities, building awareness and support. For the children, the visits are deeply comforting. Meeting people from across the world who care for them offers hope and reassurance during uncertain times.
This summer showed what’s possible when we work together: over 560 lives changed. And with your continued partnership through the Frontier Horizon Alliance, we can keep bringing joy, care, and opportunity to children around the world.
