Melania joined her foster family in April 2025 and currently attends kindergarten, where she loves playing with toys and enjoying all kinds of children’s games. She is a cheerful, curious little girl with a resilient spirit. Before entering foster care, Melania survived a fall from a third-floor window—an accident that left her with significant vision challenges, including partial optic nerve atrophy, convergent strabismus, and hyperopic astigmatism in both eyes. She also has neurological disorders and a general speech delay, and she requires ongoing monitoring, therapy, and treatment.
